Patient Praises Madison College's Nursing Department

satisfied patient with nurseWhile a patient at St. Mary's Hospital on September 14 and 15, I was asked by Ms. Pat O'Conner, nursing instructor from Madison College, if I would be willing to have a student nurse. Being an instructor myself, I said yes. Later that afternoon, Sarah Baird, came in and introduced herself and stated she would be my student nurse the next day.

While caring for me, I experience numbness in the face, which I developed prior to my heart attack in July. She conversed with me while accessing whether or not I was experiencing a stroke. She will make a fine nurse: thoughtful, caring and professional in her care.

Madison College can be very proud of the instruction that the students are receiving!
