As more and more of us are active in social media both on and off campus, it’s interesting to learn about the different ways we’re communicating with students and each other.
Instructor Elizabeth Galewski shared this about her blog:
Wisconsin Tech Colleges twittered a link to my blog yesterday, so I guess the cat is out of the bag. I offer Matters the same link in hope that it will be of interest to the greater Madison Area Technical College community. I am an instructor here at the College, and the blog is designed to reach out to students (especially students taking online classes). It provides practical information about how school works, gets the word out about job opportunities and College events, and offers periodic doses of inspiration.
For instance, recent blog entries include: "How to Pick Your Major," "How to Get Good Grades" and "How to Save Money on Textbooks."
The first entry is "Why Madison College is a Great School, Part I."
