New Hire in Enrollment Management

Mark Martinez is the new Program Manager in Enrollment Management.  If Mark’s name or face seem familiar to you, it Is because Mark has worked with Madison College as a consultant in the past.

Mark’s background includes a BS in Economics (UW-Madison – also a member of the UW football team in the late ‘80’s and later played Arena Football) and a BS in Journalism (UW-La Crosse) He worked 8 years as a program and project manager - most recently at Core BTS, Inc., a technology solutions provider. He also has 10 years of sales and marketing experience locally with organizations such as Rayovac and the Badger State Games.

Mark began a relationship with Madison college 2 years ago as a consultant assisting in various projects related to the Telecommunications Program that ended in 2010.  During his time here, he was impressed with the great people he met as well as the significance of their efforts and the impact they were having on the students and the community.  Wanting to share in that passion and help achieve the college’s mission, he jumped at the chance to join the Madison College team.

On Mark’s off-time he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, travel, reading (history and biographies) coaching many youth teams (girls volleyball, girls and boys basketball and high school football) and following Wisconsin Badger athletics.
