Nancy Woodward's New Job

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Woodward to the position of Director of the new Center for Adult Learning. Nancy will begin her role this September and will report to Dr. Deryl Davis Fulmer, Associate Vice President for Learner Success/Operations.
As director, Nancy will develop, market, implement, coordinate all activities, and provide overall direction and operations for the Center for Adult Learning. In her new role, she will work collaboratively with all academic units, the Center for Community and Corporate Learning, Learner Development, and external workforce agency and business partners.
Nancy currently works as a Part-time Faculty Coordinator. Nancy has over 22 years experience working with adult/non-traditional learners as both an administrator and faculty member. For nine years, she was the Director of Lakeland College – Fox Cities Center, a regional campus for adult and non-traditional students. Prior to her position at Lakeland College, Nancy was the Director of Employment and Training at CAP Services for eight years where she created and managed the Skills Enhancement Program, serving approximately 400 academically and economically disadvantaged adult students and displaced workers in accessing educational opportunities including GED/HSED programs, vocational programs, and associate and bachelor degree programs. The program won the 1998 Governor’s Award for Outstanding Community Action Program in Wisconsin.
Beyond her administrative work, Nancy has taught adult learners for over twenty years, delivering courses face-to-face, online, hybrid, and in accelerated formats. She holds a Master of Business Administration, Master of Education (Higher Education/Adult Learner emphasis) and a Master of Arts in Counseling (Higher Education emphasis). In addition, she is a Certified Family Development Specialist from the University of Iowa Graduate School of Social Work.
