Madison College's Earth Day
Tue, 04/19/2011 - 13:52 — kfoster3
A reminder that today is our Earth Day celebration. There will be two showings of the Eleventh Hour at the Truax Campus, Wolf Pack Den—the first is from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and the second which is a special family movie night with soda and popcorn from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. We hope you are able to see this great Earth Day movie.
Also at the end of your workday today, Tuesday, April 19, turn off lights appliances to save energy and go green!
We are calling on the College district-wide to save the Earth and save energy by turning off all space heaters, microwave ovens, coffee makers, computers, printers, shredders and turning off any unnecessary lights or appliances.
We want to show others how we can collaboratively save energy, save the district money and Go Green for the day! Individually, our gestures may seem small, but your participation will allow us to show the district-wide impact of making environmentally friendly choices and reducing our carbon footprint.
