Madison College Student's Funeral

It is with sadness in our heart that we share with you the loss of one of our current students. 

On Thursday, December 3, 2009, Tracy Judd and her daughter were found dead in tragic incident in our community. Tracy was currently in our Accounting Assistant/Business Mid-Management programs and was enrolled in courses on the Truax campus.

Realizing the difficulty and grief that such a tragedy can bring, Madison College counselors are available to assist any student, faculty or staff member that is in need of assistance. Just contact the Student Development Center at (608) 246-6076. Additionally, campus security has information on the assailant and is working with local police authorities.

Visitation services for Tracy will be held from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison 608-238-3434. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at ST. JAMES LUTHERAN CHURCH, 427 S. Main Street, Verona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made "In Memory of Tracy and Deja" to Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS), PO Box 761, Madison, Wis., 53701.
