Highway 51 Road Construction Update

Here's the latest on the Highway 51 construction project.

The Anderson Street intersection is anticipated to open to traffic on Friday, August 6, with no restrictions and the traffic signals back in operation. Construction will be moving to the Kinsman Boulevard intersection at this time. 

Specific closures/restrictions at the Kinsman intersection are as follows:
-The median will be closed in the intersection, limiting traffic to only right turns onto Kinsman and off of Kinsman from each direction.
-No left turns or through traffic will be permitted.
-This condition is expected to last until Monday, August 9, when the left turn from northbound 51 onto Kinsman will be available. On August 9, construction will move to the west leg of Kinsman Blvd and close the west leg to traffic, similar to Anderson Street.
-During this time left turns onto westbound Kinsman from 51 and cross traffic will be prohibited. This phase of  construction is anticipated to take two weeks.
