Health Information Instructor Receives Award

Loretta Brunell, RHIT, CPC, will be presented with the 2011 Educator Award from the Wisconsin Health Information Management Association (WHIMA) on May 18.
The Educator Award is presented to honor those who demonstrate excellence in preparing the next generation of Health Information Management professionals for their careers. It can be awarded to those who teach in Health Information administration, technology, and other related programs, and those who are involved in WHIMA’s activities at a state and local level.
Loretta is a full-time instructor in the Medical Coding Specialist Program (MCSP). Loretta was nominated for this award by graduates of the MCSP.
