Haitian Dance Group to Perform at Madison College

    United Common Ground (UCG) brings a piece of the Madison World Music Festival(MWMF) to Madison College.

    Djarara, a 13 piece Haitian music/dance group, will perform at Truax and the South campus on Thursday, September 23.

    DjararaThe documentary, "The Other Side of the Water" explores the bands journey from Haiti to the streets of NY. The screening of the documentary will be a free pre-event to the festival and will be shown in the Mitby Theater on Wednesday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m. Film director Jeremy Robins will be on hand for a question and answer session after the sceening.

    Djarara will be performing throughout Madison as part of the Madison World Music festival.
