Go Red for Women

Go Red for Women logoPlease show your support for the fight against heart disease in women by taking part in National Wear Red Day this Friday (February 5).

Madison College’s very own Kathy Waters has been selected to participate in the Go Red For Women Makeover sponsored by American Heart Association and UW Hospitals and Clinics. Kathy and two other area women were chosen to participate in a
    12-week heart healthy program.

A clinical team will work with each woman to design a nutrition and exercise plan for her individual heart health goals.  At the end of the program, each woman will receive a beauty makeover and be unveiled at the Go Red for Women Luncheon at the Monona Terrace on April 15. You can follow Kathy’s progress by reading her blog.
