Free Independent Film Showing at Sequoya Branch Library

You are cordially invited to watch a free film titled "Pray the Devil Back to Hell" at Sequoya Branch Library, 4340 Tokay Boulevard on Saturday, September 17 at 1 p.m.
This is a free showing of an Independent Lens film by Gini Reticker. UW Professor of Journalism and Mass Communications, Jo Ellen Fair, will discuss the film after the showing.
"Pray the Devil Back to Hell" chronicles the remarkable story of the courageous Liberian women who came together to end a bloody civil war and bring peace to their shattered country.
It is a story of sacrifice, unity and transcendence. "Pray the Devil Back to Hell" honors the strength and perseverance of the women of Liberia. Inspiring, uplifting and most of all motivating, it is a compelling testimony of how grassroots activism can alter the history of nations.
