Films on Demand

    Films on DemandMadison College Libraries is proud to announce the addition of Films on Demand (FOD) to its collections.

    FOD is a streaming video collection of top quality video content for every department and program district-wide from publishers like PBS, Meridian, Cambridge Educational, the BBC, National Geographic and more. Students, faculty and staff have access to over 6,000 titles--anywhere, anytime. These videos can be used in the classroom, linked to in Blackboard, incorporated into assignments, used for resume building and honing job skills, etc.

    There are 8 collections covering: Humanities and Social Sciences [3700 titles], Business and Economics [5,900 titles], Science and Mathematics [1,450 titles], Health and Medicine [990 titles], Technical Education [450 titles], Family and Consumer Sciences [350 titles], Careers and Job Search [260 titles], and Guidance and Counseling [300 titles. Many of the titles are closed captioned.
