Enrollment Center Welcomes Marilyn Housner

    The Enrollment Center is pleased to announce that Marilyn Housner joined the leadership team of the Enrollment Center as the new associate manager of Customer Service on January 24.

    Marilyn will be managing the Enrollment Center’s Customer Service and Call Center staff to coordinate front-line services needed to assist students and staff in-person and by phone. She will be working in coordination with the Admissions, Financial Aid, Records and Veterans Benefits departments within the Truax and Downtown Enrollment Centers.

    Marilyn brings a wide range of experiences from within both public and private sectors, and has over 11 years of leadership experience with call center and customer service teams. Most recently, she served as supervisor for the Information Technology Division of State of Wisconsin’s Department of Corrections. Additionally, Marilyn brings a background of working with students, academic records and grades from a prior role as a high school registrar.

    Marilyn is an avid Badger fan who holds season tickets for both football and basketball. She enjoys an active life style, and even completed a half-marathon last year. Marilyn enjoys traveling to exotic locales like Australia and South Africa, but still likes to read a good book at home in Stoughton. She has been married to her husband Chuck for 27 years and they have two daughters, Nikki, 24, and Courtney, 21. Marilyn has a story of success and personal triumph; as a breast cancer survivor, she is the definition of grace and perseverance. We are lucky to have such an amazingly strong and accomplished woman to lead our Customer Service team. She brings together all the elements of a leader and we look forward to her taking the reins and guiding us into the future.
