English Instructor Reads Poems in New York

Part-time English Department faculty member Connie Stevenson gave a reading of her new work in New York City over spring break at The Poetry Project.

Using the name Connie Deanovich for her writing career, Connie has also recently had two poems accepted for publication by New American Writing (San Francisco). She is a Whiting Writer's Award winner with two books and several other publications to her credit.

In addition to teaching in the English Department, she is slated to teach creative writing: poetry for ACE next fall.
