Just in time for Halloween!
Fort Atkinson campus English instructor Christopher Welch has published a short story in a “humorous-horror” anthology called BLOOD LITE II: OVERBITE, which was just released last week.
His story is called “Dead Clown Séance” and is about a group of psychic clowns that have to stop a cursed and ghostly clown-car that is terrorizing the country roads of Jefferson County, Wisconsin.
Other authors with short stories in the anthology include Kelley Armstrong, L.A. Banks, Allison Brennan, Heather Graham, J.A. Konrath and Scott Nicholson. Welch also appeared in the first volume of BLOOD LITE, with a story that was a spoof of H.P. Lovecraft.
The anthologies are edited by author and native Wisconsinite Kevin J. Anderson. Welch will be signing copies at the Velveteen Rabbit Bookstore in Fort Atkinson from 11 a.m. to noon on Oct. 30.
