The Madison College Transfer Art Department has 20 participants in the Open Art Studio event and they will be demonstrating their art at the Downtown Education Center.
The studio tour runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, and Sunday, October 3. You can also stop by for a kick-off reception for all the 100 area participants at the Overture Center on October 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be demonstrations in painting, drawing, jewelry, 35mm film photography, and ceramics.
Talk to the participants and see how they make their art (some will be for sale).
