Career Fair Needs Your Help

The Career and Employment Center needs your help to promote the upcoming Career Fair on Thursday, March 31. Please encourage your students to attend from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Doug Redsten Gym at the Truax campus. The event will also be open to the general public from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

To help your students prepare for this event, a workshop called “Preparing for a Career Fair” will be offered on Tuesday, March 22 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Call (608) 243-4598 for more details.

In addition to the 26 employers currently registered and several Madison College programs, there will also be the following breakout sessions to help attendees be successful:
- Resume Reviews
- Dress For Success (sponsored by our Fashion Marketing program, Dental Assistant program, and Mary Kay)
- How to Handle Arrest and Conviction Records
- How and When to Disclose a Disability to an Employer

After participating in the Career Fair, Madison College students and alumni who take part in an online survey will have a chance to win one of three $100 Visa cards!
