Border Battle Basketball Tournament

The Madison College Border Battle Basketball Tournament is this Friday and Saturday, November 12 - 13.
The tournament will feature five teams including: Gogebic Community College (Ironwood, MI), Kirkwood Community College (Cedar Rapids, IA), Marshalltown Community College (Marshalltown, IA), Rochester Community & Technical College (Rochester, MN) and the host, Madison College. All games are held at the H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium on the Madison College - Truax Campus.
Some of the team competeing this weekend are nationally ranked. The defending national champion Madison College Women were ranked #1 in the first NJCAA Division III national poll while the Rochester Community & Technical College Women were ranked #7 in the nation. On the men’s side, Rochester Community & Technical College is ranked #8 in the nation.

10:00 AM - WOMEN - Losers of Friday’s games - Women’s Semifinal
12:00 PM - MEN - Losers of Friday’s games - Men’s Semifinal
2:00 PM - WOMEN - Winners of Friday’s games - Women’s Championship
4:00 PM - MEN - Winners of Friday’s games - Men’s Championship
Ticket Prices are: $4.00 - Adults, $2.00 - Students, Children under 10 - free, Admission is free for those with valid Madison College OneCards.
