Book Loans Done; Emergency Loans Now Available
Wed, 01/27/2010 - 09:20 — rgee
The book loan process has now ended for the current academic term. Thank you to all who helped to make it a success.
As a reminder, book loans are available only at the start of the term (week before through second week of fall or spring term; no book loans for summer) to degree program students receiving a financial aid award. Visit the website for complete details of the book loan process.
Some students may still experience emergency funding needs pending distribution of their financial aid award. Again, in cooperation with the Foundation, limited resources are available.
The eligibility criteria are the same as the book loan and the emergency nature need must be directly related to the student's instructional success at the college. See "Emergency Information" in the scholarships section of the website for more details. Extremely limited resources are available so not all requests may be funded.
Please refer students to the campus Student Development Center to request an emergency loan application and meet with a Madison College counselor. Students should be prepared with a OneCard or state issued photo ID.
