    Banned Books Week is This WeekThe Color Purple, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Call of the Wild, The Jungle, 1984, and Lord of the Rings are just of few of the titles that individuals and/or groups have tried to ban from the classroom and your library.

    Year after year, librarians and teachers have fought to make these classics available to all. Celebrate books and your freedom to read them.
