Adopt a pet and live a longer life! Studies have shown that people who interact with animals feel better to the point of improving overall health.
In addition to physical benefits, the emotional benefits of this kind of companionship cannot be over emphasized.
The students and staff of the Veterinary Technician Program are happy to announce that the Truax Pet Adoption facilities are now open to visitors and potential adopters. We have dogs, cats and some pocket pets available. Please help us say thanks to our teaching animals by providing them with a good home!
If you, a family member, or a friend are interested in adopting a pet or would just like to visit-please stop by our program area. For further info and/or to visit you must follow the instructions posted on the wall near the phone located across from the Child and Family Center room 160 at the East End of the building. There are also posted visiting hours near the phone.
Requests for alternative visiting hours can be made by leaving a message at (608) 246-6553.
