Privacy Policy   Member Services   Fees


MEMBERSHIP:                   

Credit Union membership is open to employees of Madison Area Technical College District, and immediate family members.

To open an account call Rhonda or Sally at 246-6199, or use our message form and we will send the membership forms to you.  A $5.00 minimum deposit is all that is required to open an account, and you can make deposits to your account through payroll deduction.

Check our rates on savings accounts, certificates and loans.

Each share account is insured by the NCUA up to $100,00.00.

can be done for a fee of $10.00.

During the summer months we offer Noah's Ark tickets at a discounted rate.

FEES

Excessive share withdrawal:  $1.00 per withdrawal in excess of 4 withdrawals per month.

Inactive accounts:  A fee of $1.00 per month may be assessed if there has been no activity on an account in 2 years.

Checks returned for non-sufficient funds:  $18.00

Stop Payment Fee: $18.00

MATC Credit Union, your member owned financial institution, is committed to providing you with financial products and services to meet you needs and each your financial goals.  We are equally committed to protecting our members' privacy.  You can be confident that your financial privacy is a priority of this credit union.

 

Information We Collect and Disclose About You

bulletInformation we receive from a consumer credit reporting agency
bulletInformation obtained when verifying the information you provide on an application or other forms.  This may be obtained from your current or past employers, or from other institutions where you conduct financial transactions.

We disclose information to a company that performs a marketing service on our behalf.  We will only work with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality protections and limit the use of information we provide.  We do not permit any company to sell member information to other third parties.

In order to conduct the business of the credit union, we may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you under other circumstances as permitted or required by law.  These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct the operations of our credit union, follow your instructions as you authorize, or protect the security of our financial records.

If you terminate your membership with MATC Credit Union, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as permitted or required by law.

How We Protect Your Information

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who have a specific business purpose in utilizing your data.  Our employees are trained in the importance of maintaining confidentiality and member privacy.  We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations and leading industry practices to safeguard your nonpublic personal information.

What You Can Do To Help Protect Your Privacy

MATC Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of its members.  Members can help by following these simple guidelines:

Use caution when disclosing your account numbers, social security numbers, etc. to other persons.  If someone calls you and explains the call is on behalf of the credit union and asks for you account number, you should beware.  Official credit union staff will have access to your information and will not need to ask for it.  For security purposes we may ask for your social security number when you call the credit union seeking information about your account.

Keep your information with us current.  It is important that we have current information on how to reach you.  If we detect potentially fraudulent or unauthorized activity or use of an account, we will attempt to contact you immediately.  If your address or phone number changes, please let us know.
